IS THIS SOFTWARE ONLY AVAILABLE VIA THE WEB ?

No, the are several methods of accessing the order management system. We provide both a Web browser and a Desktop Client Interface. These are both widely used by our clients and our team will gladly guide you through the setup and utilization of each access point.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SETUP AN ACCOUNT?

The creation of an account only takes a few minutes. However, it takes about 1-2 weeks to for us to setup your platform to be fully operational. We take some additional time due to the fact, as opposed to your standard setup, we implement a separate dedicated section of our system for your company. This means your company will have its instance of the software and own dedicated database.

HOW CAN I BE SURE THAT YOUR SECURITY IS SOLID?

Security is one of our top priorities at Appraisal Scope. All of our servers are SSAE16 audited, payment process is PCI compliant and utilizes high encryption for your data. All data is hosted in a private dedicated cloud environment which provides database isolation and connections to our infrastructure using industry-standard encrypted IPsec VPNs.

DO YOU OFFER A MOBILE APP?

Yes we have a mobile app that is available on both iPhone and Android for the appraisers. It allows them to be as efficient as possible by retrieving orders, updating status, and communicating from the field via the app. We have spent a lot of time ensuring no corners were cut and are constantly adding new features to continue leading the industry.

TO WHAT EXTENT IS THE PLATFORM CUSTOMIZABLE AND CONFIGURABLE?

The platform is almost completely customizable. Our development team can create custom functionalities and features specific to your request to meet your business needs. In addition, we have built the system to be extremely configurable down to a granular level. This allows you to set different fee schedules, approved list/exclusionary lists, payment settings and more from a client company level down to a client user level. It gives you the complete ability to accommodate any type of unique workflow or required configuration.

WILL YOUR PLATFORM HANDLE HIGH TRANSACTION VOLUME AND IS IT SCALABLE?

Appraisal scope is able to smoothly support a high volume of orders. The technology we utilize elimintates any performance degradation to higher volume so the system will allows be lightening fast. In addition, we have implemented auto scale for our server architecture. This allows the platform to automatically increase resources as traffic and/or volume increases. As a result there is truly no limit to the amount of volume the platform can support – making it perfect for scaling your business.

HOW MUCH AUTOMATION IS POSSIBLE USING YOUR PLATFORM?

Yes, our goal with Appraisal Scope is to make your job as efficient as possible. To achieve this we have added automation in many crucial areas such as real-time data, automatic reminders to eliminate following up with your vendors, automatic notifications for your coordinators and client users, workflow automation, and much more. A member of our team can review all out of the box automations in place.

HOW LONG IS THE TYPICAL LEARNING CURVE TO USE THE SYSTEM WELL?

Appraisal Scope is designed to be very intuitive, therefore the learning curve is minimal. We will assign a dedicated account executive to ensure you quickly gain full knowledge of the platform and understand how to make it work for you. A solid level of familiarity can typically be achieved within 2 weeks. We explain everything at your level and aim to make tutorials as simple as possible.

WHAT TYPE OF TECHNICAL AND GENERAL SUPPORT IS OFFERED?

Our support team are available from 7 am EST to 7 PM EST and 24 hours for emergencies or critical issues. You will be assigned a dedicated account executive to ensure your Appraisal Scope contact has a good understanding of your company’s requirements. This provides convenience and optimal productivity. In addition, we have a general support number and email. Members can also uses our ticketing system to submit new requests and track status.

DOES THE PLATFORM HAVE ACCOUNTING FEATURES AND CREDIT CARD PROCESSING?

Yes, the platform has robust accounting features available which handles both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Multiple payment options are also available such as credit card processing, electronic check, invoicing, sending payment to the borrower via email and more. Our goal is that Appraisal Scope is your one stop shop for all your needs.

WHAT SOFTWARE COORDINATION CAN BE DONE WITH COMMERCIAL LENDING PLATFORMS ?

Commercial lending is a major aspect of Appraisal Scope. We are experienced and knowledgeable about all areas of commercial lending technology. The order management system can be fully integrated with commercial lending products and there is even web services integration capabilities to Stearns public websites and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

WHAT IS THE TYPICAL COMPANY THAT UTILIZES YOUR SYSTEM?

Our clients consist of Appraisal Management Companies and Lenders such as Mortgage Companies, Banks, Credit unions and other industry service companies. This allows our platform to work well regardless if the monthly volume is low or high – we are prepared to service all levels.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO MIGRATE DATA FROM EXISTING SYSTEMS?

We recognize that transferring data and moving to another platform can be stressful and frustrating. Our migration specialists understand this and take the time to carefully work with your business throughout the entire move.  Part of the implementation process includes migrating your data from your old system. All we need is a data export and we can map the fields and import the data into Appraisal Scope. In addition or alternatively we can also send out mass invites to your users and appraisers notifying them of the new platform upgrade and inviting them to register.

CAN BOTH RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL ASSIGNMENTS BE SERVICED?

Yes, our platform supports both Residential and Commercial. Our commercial platform has additional and unique functionality to support the specific requirements for commercial valuation. This includes bidding, commercial order forms, etc.

IS THIS PLATFORM SUITABLE TO PROPERLY SERVICE AMCs?

Yes, our system provides robust AMC management functionality allowing you to manually or automatically assign orders to your preferred AMC’s. The automation allows you to configure assignment based on geographic location, branch submitting the order, product type, and more configurable rules.

ARE WE ABLE TO INCORPORATE WORKING WITH OTHER VENDORS - TITLE, BPOs, INSPECTORS, ETC?

Yes, we have built the ability to assign orders to all your settlement service providers. As a result you can streamline your entire ordering process for Appraisal, Title, Inspections and more.

HOW DOES YOUR PLATFORM DIFFER FROM OTHER SOLUTIONS IN THE INDUSTRY?

Appraisal Scope has been carefully built to optimize the appraisal ordering and management process. Our platform is unique in that it provides robust functionality while being incredibly intuitive.  Competing platforms might contain some similar functionality but Appraisal Scope’s ease of use is night and day. The system is data driven to provide you real-time key metrics and information. In addition to the significant features available our support and service is unmatched. WHAT TYPE OF QUALITY CONTROL FUNCTIONALITY DOES THE SYSTEM OFFER?

Available in the system are multiple QC review tools. This includes a custom QC checklist builder, an Automated QC platform that cross check appraisal reports against 1000+ FannieMae, Freddie Mac, and custom rules, and 3rd party products that have been seamlessly integrated.

HOW MUCH DOWNTIME SHOULD WE ANTICIPATE?

Due to the technology and architecture of our platform downtime is very minimal. We have implemented automatic failovers in the case of a system failure. Customers are notified in advance of any potential services interruptions due to system updates, security updates, or system maintenance. All deployments are scheduled very late in the afterhours.

WILL OUR DATA AND SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS BE BACKED UP REGULARLY?

Yes, our system provides point-in-time recovery. This allows your data to be resotred from any second during the retention period up to the last five minutes. Automated backups are stored in Amazon S3 which is designed for 99.999999999% durability. Backups are automatic, incremental, continous, and have no impact on database performance.

IS APPRAISAL SCOPE FULLY INTEGRATED WITH UCDP and EAD?

Yes, we have a seamless integration with UCDP and EAD including the ability to automate the submissions.

DO YOU OFFER A DIRECTORY OF AVAILABLE APPRAISERS IF WE DO NOT HAVE COVERAGE IN A SPECIFIC AREA?

Yes, our directory includes over 40,000 registered appraisers. You can utilize our directory to quickly add appraisers to your own panel for assignment. In addition, we have seamlessly integrated ASC into our platform which provides you every appraiser in the country making recruiting very simple if an appraiser is not already registered in our network.

IS THERE ANYTHING DIFFERENT ABOUT YOUR REPORTING CAPABILITIES?

We have built our own proprietary report builder to provide extremely intuitive yet robust reporting functionality. The drag and drop features allows you to quickly build a report in a matter of seconds pulling in any data within the entire system. In addition, you can automate reports on a schedule to generate and email at any day and time of the week.

IS THERE PERMISSION BASED RULES AVAILABLE?

The platform is permission based allowing you to pick and chose different access as well as the ability to enable or disable specific functionality for each user.

CAN YOUR PROVIDE SOC 1 AND SOC 2 REPORTS?

Yes our servers are SOC 1 and SOC 2 audited. We can provide the report upon request.

DOES THE SYSTEM HAVE A BORROWER DELIVERY FEATURE?

Yes, available is an ECOA compliant borrower delivery feature. The system will send the borrower delivery email to the borrower automatically or manually depending on your configuration. This process requires the borrower to acknowledge retrieval of the order electronically and confirms their ability to read the report in a PDF format. The entire process is tracked and reportable from the date the report was delivered, to the date downloaded. The system automatically generates a unique certificate within the order when downloaded. It includes the borrower’s information as well as electronic signature.

IS THE SYSTEM DESIGNED FOR SPEED AND QUICK RESPONSE TIMES?

Yes, we have spent a lot of attention ensuring the platform is fast and responsive. We understand the power and efficiency in being able to rapidly search for assignments, retrieve data and perform tasks.  We have achieved this by utilizing cutting edge technology and unique architecture.

WHAT TYPE OF SEARCH FUNCTIONALITY DOES THE PLATFORM OFFER?

Built into the platform is instant search. This provides rapid searching for assignments and data. In addition, we have built what we call Super Search which gives you the ability to search for assignments based on very granular data such as date ordered or completed, loan numbers, appraisers name and much more.
